Manic Muse is Rhoda Crawford, located in the artsy neighborhood of Fishtown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Manic Muse features designs for both ladies and gents as well as whimsical home decor. Designs are fitted for functionality by upcycling, deconstructing, and repurposing found objects & specimens into vintage-inspired adornments & curiosities. Alchemic inspiration spawns from the Victorian & Edwardian eras to steampunk to the macabre to your granddaddy’s tool chest.
Rhoda's #1 passion is animal welfare. She has spent the last two decades volunteering and fundraising for animal rescues as well as donating Manic Muse designs for silent auctions. She currently is the mother of 3 rescues: Mochi, a pit-beagle mix adopted from the Humane Society of Atlanta; Otto, a pure-bred white boxer found battered and wandering the streets of Chester, Pennsylvania; and Pen-Pen, a petite tuxedo kitty found on a highway in Atlanta, Georgia. Customers can find animal rescue jewelry on Manic Muse's Etsy site where 100% of the proceeds are donated to animal rescue.
A portion of all sales are donated monthly to benefit local animal rescues and Save The Children.
